We are seeking motivated individuals to join our production team as Press Operator Trainee. This role offers comprehensive onsite training and an opportunity to build a rewarding career in the printing industry. Working alongside skilled operators and trainers, you will gain hands-on experience with production procedures and equipment. Responsibilities
- Learn and assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of printing press equipment.
- Follow production procedures and ensure quality standards are met.
- Complete production and quality documentation accurately and on time.
- Monitor press performance and notify the trainer or lead operator of any mechanical issues.
- Support team goals by maintaining safety, cleanliness, and efficiency on the production floor.
- Participate actively in training sessions to expand technical skills and mechanical understanding.
1st Shift Hours: Monday – Thursday, 7am - 3:30 pm, Friday 6am - 2:30pm
Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Good vision and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
- Basic math knowledge and ability to follow measurements accurately.
- Computer literacy with experience entering data into software systems.
- Proven teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to lift between 30–60 lbs., approximately 40–60% of the time.
- Basic math skills for measurements and inventory management
