Job Description

Experienced O&M Facilities Technician with a strong background in HVAC. Understanding of the day to day operation and various issues that occur in facilities corporate office environments. This position entails maintaining, operating, and break fix repairs of key infrastructure systems in multiple locations. This position's major qualities, duties, and criteria are summarized below.

The work hours for this role are Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm PT.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Preferred 5+ years of hands-on experience working in a fast-paced multi-facility corporate environment, with a focus on providing the best in class service as a O&M Facilities Technician

Capable of doing preventative and corrective maintenance on HVAC and other infrastructure systems.

Wide experience in performing a variety of HVAC, minor electrical, plumbing, and building repairs.

Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure the safety and functionality of all facilities and equipment.

Collaborate with team members to prioritize and complete maintenance tasks in a timely manner, minimizing disruptions to daily operations.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inventory management.

Ability to adapt and learn quickly, work autonomously, approach tasks with a sense of urgency, and address any issues that arise during business hours.

Demonstrates a basic understanding of the impact facilities work will have to the customer and can make repairs or recommendations for solutions or alternatives.

Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.

Uphold safety standards and protocols, promoting a secure and hazard-free workplace for all.

A willingness to provide on-call support in case of emergencies or other off-hours issues.

KNOWLEDGE

A substantial understanding of building mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire life and safety systems, a primary background in mechanical(HVAC) preferred.

A skilled understanding of the proper use of common hand tools

A good understanding of the use of specialized tools and test equipment

A good understanding in the use of computer tools such as productivity software, BMS systems, e-mail, and databases

SKILLS

Good verbal and written business communications skills

EDUCATION

High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Valid Driver’s License

Documented proof of some basic technical training in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing concepts from an approved accredited institution or union apprenticeship school

5+ years of related experience
